Evaluation

The preliminary task has allowed me to show my skills in creativity. Also, to gain insight on things like editing, and photography from other peers as well. Moving forward with this project, I will get familiar with InDesign and Photoshop as well. These will help me create my final project of: a cover page, contents page and a double page spread. 

Layout

For the 1st and 2nd magazine covers, all of the magazines were centered. The 2nd preliminary task has 3 models on it, which includes myself. On the contents page, I plan to place one photo as the background and use different colors fonts and styles for the content. 

Text Styles

I knew from the beginning that I want my blog and magazine to look very eye catching. I will use color and different style fonts, as said before, to make it more interesting and make customers want to see what is inside. Of course, the main cover will be bold and large.

Photography 

For the cover page, I plan top use no more than 2 models. This is to reduce the chance of the reader being distracted and not knowing who or what to look at. The picture will be in color or black and white, depending on the mood it sets and how it looks. For the contents page, I think I will probably use about 3 or 4 models, to give a diverse look of models. For the real magazine the models will be in the same uniform, to make it more uniformed. Also, I will keep in mind to use different body shapes and sizes, as it promotes body image.

1. Does your self-esteem influence your mood? (For example, your mood may be worse on days you do not feel attractive or good about your looks)

2. Have you ever felt pressured to fit into a culturally "ideal" look (thin and delicate for females, strong and muscular for males)?

3. Has the size or shape of your body ever prevented you from doing something you wanted to do?

4. Do you feel comfortable with the size and/or shape of your body?

Questions # 5- 7 were response questions. 

8. Do you feel that the media creates an unattainable body image for women?

9.  Have you ever felt depressed or upset in anyway about your body?

10. Do you feel comfortable wearing a bathing suit or revealing clothing in public? (Men without a shirt or women without shorts or a cover while in a bathing suit)?

Magazine Poll Questions

This is another feature that I have decided to include. For my magazine, I will ask random people a question and put some responses in the magazine. The questions are the following:
